Poke Balls are used in capturing Pokemon. Poke Stops will also give additional Poke Balls when you swipe through it. Once you level up to level 12 and 20, you will acquire upgraded Great Balls and Ultra Balls which are used in catching rare Pokemon. To maximize these enhanced balls, it is advisable to toss first a Razz Berry in order for it to be effective.

Potions, which is given in level 5, is used to heal Pokemon after a gym battle. Just like Poke Balls it also has enhanced versions, the Super, Hyper, and Master Potions. They are obtained at levels 10, 15, and 25, respectively. Each potion restores a certain level of HP. The Master Potion gives a full HP bar once used.Next is Revives that are used to revive a fainted Pokemon after a battle. Normal Revives are unlocked at level 5 while Max Revives are at level 30.Same with Potions they also do have a certain level of reviving a Pokemon’s health.

Now let us go with Pokémon Eggs, Egg Incubator and Lucky Eggs. Pokemon Eggs can be hatched to acquire new Pokémons without having to capture them. Pokémon Eggs must be placed in an Egg Incubator and must travel a certain distance in order to hatch.

Not to be confused with Pokémon Eggs, Lucky Eggs will double the number of experience points (XP) the player earns for completing tasks that reward XP. Lucky Eggs last for 30 minutes and should be used just before doing tasks that reward additional XP. If you plan to hatch, catch, or evolve multiple items at once, use a Lucky Egg beforehand to maximize your XP gains.

Lure Modules and Incense are used to attract more wild Pokémon to a location. Lure Modules are used at a Poke Stop while Incense is used on yourself. Razz Berries, Nanab Berries and Pinap Berries are fruits use to enhance your chances in catching a rare Pokemon, in exchange for a certain number of candies. And bags is where all your inventory items are stored. If the items reach the limit, the storage area can be increased by purchasing an upgrade.

Keep in mind that these items should not empty your pocket. Some of these items can be acquired for free with just a little effort of walking and visiting Poke Stops. What is important are these items will definitely aid you in your Pokemon adventure. Especially this summer since Niantic promises it to be legendary.
